Sometimes I wake up with so many ideas, so many possibilities that my head is literally buzzing.
“I’m going to write an article on this, but I need to work on the lovely purple painting, maybe I should get that group of women together that run their own businesses, but first I need to put this message on Facebook, wait, I want to call my Mother it’s been a few days, how about a cup of tea, first to the toilet, oh, dear we’re nearly out of toilet paper, need to do the shopping, what are we going to eat tonight, could I persuade my husband to eat out somewhere tonight, probably not, he is still tired from his bad cold, well, I’ll get something in later, for now let’s write this article I was thinking about…”
Do you know the feeling?? It just continues whirling around like some thick broth, probably with some gems of ideas in between all the usual practical and not so practical stuff. It is not so much that it doesn’t make sense, but the explosive energy of the possibilities makes it difficult to give any one idea enough focus and direction to complete it. Having visited a 100 ideas of what I can do with my life on a Saturday like today, I already feel exhausted and ready for a nap.
My Mind prefers order, sequence, direction, completion and the Peace and Satisfaction that generally come from knowing that I am doing the things I should be doing.
